Leonardo DiCaprio Could Have Been Lex Luthor In Superman

Director Zack Snyder, known for his work on the now-defunct DC Extended Universe (DCEU), revealed in an interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast that he had discussions with Leonardo DiCaprio about portraying the iconic villain Lex Luthor. Snyder disclosed that DiCaprio, who is on the record as having a rule against starring in superhero movies, engaged in thoughtful conversations about the role but ultimately opted to not pursue it.

Make Sure To Swallow Your Drink Before Looking At These Bugged MLB The Show 24 Faces

The newly released MLB The Show 24 has turned into a horror show after its latest patch, with multiple players sporting warped and distorted faces. From features clipping through players’ caps to eyes bugging out from strangely squished faces, the frankly hilarious glitch has added some unintentional comedy to San Diego Studio’s baseball sim–though the problem seems to have resolved itself.

Only certain players seem to have been subjected to the facial glitches, which squished a player’s features in to result in weak chins and strange bug eyes. Multiple players have posted screenshots on X, formerly Twitter, of the warped players appearing in their games, and we experienced it ourselves with several players.

Lord Of The Rings Star Says "No One Got Paid Anything" For The Billion-Dollar Series

Over two decades ago, The Lord of the Rings trilogy set a new standard for fantasy films on the big screen. Return of the King even won Best Picture, Best Director, and more at the Oscars. But as beloved as those films are, the actors who starred in them weren’t paid what you may have expected. Now, Cate Blanchett, who appeared as Galadriel in the LOTR and The Hobbit trilogies, has said that “no one got paid anything” for being in the films.

Via Variety, Blanchett was a guest on Watch What Happens Live when she was asked if the LOTR films were her highest paying role. Her response was incredulous, and she added that “I basically got free sandwiches, and I got to keep my [elf] ears.” Blanchett went on to explain that she took the role because she was a fan of Peter Jackson’s films.
